Simpliphi Battery Review

Off Grid· Products

Lithium Technology

Welcome! Chances are you are interested in a battery bank to have come here. We have lived off-grid for almost 10 years, and have tried many batteries. Today we will be reviewing Simpliphi batteries.

The up to date technology when it comes to battery bank solar systems, are lithium batteries. These batteries can be fully discharged without ruining the battery comparative to AGM’s. There are only a few choices on the market at the moment. This includes Blue Ion, Simpliphi, Tesla, and various no brand name made in china batteries.

We have had the privilege of seeing all of these brands in the off-grid solar field. For our own home, we have purchased the Simplifi lithium battery for our battery bank. We decided on this purchase after consideration for the value and performance.

Simplifi battery Review

Here is our honest review of the Simpliphi lithium battery: small disclaimer, we are not being paid to write this post.

We love having Simpliphi batteries. They have exceeded our expectations. As a seasoned off-grid household, with many types of trials in the battery realm, we didn’t hold high expectations. However, Simpliphi has met our needs and has become our preferred choice of what we recommend to clients with a desire of up to date technology.

It’s lightweight and compact design matched with scalability, and safety create a perfect match for any home. With 100% depth of discharge, you’re able to use more of your battery bank, and with the C2 charging rate, it charges very fast. This leaves us winning the solar race. We live in the most cloudy rainy area on the Big Island, and still our battery charges through the clouds. If it is full sun, typically we are floating power by 11. This is incredible!

We also have been able through the online accounts that we manage to watch other systems compared to the competing brands listed above. Simpliphi outperforms and out prices other batteries up to 16kw.

We’d like to note, this battery is NOT DIY. You MUST find a reputable installer. If you’re located in Hawaii, we would love to help you! Give us a ring today, 808-747-9885.
